Extension of Leiden University of Applied Sciences officially opened

The extension of the Leiden University of Applied Sciences at Zernikedreef officially opened last week with a grand celebration. Thanks to the new building, almost all students and staff of the university are now accommodated on the campus in the Leiden Bio Science Park.

DP6 designed the extension of the existing complex for the university: a flexible educational wing with a central connecting atrium that creates space for meeting, knowledge exchange, and concentrated work. The spectacular space with characteristic columns also turned out to be the ideal location for a party!
